Alarms are divided into two groups serious and not so serious. Serious alarms indicate a potential hazard to the patient. These alarms stop ventilation and put the Life Pulse in standby. Less serious alarms allow the Life Pulse to continue support to the patient while alerting the clinician there has been a change in the patient or the ventilator.
